Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - River Avenue Project - Detour Route
Noblesville will be smoothing out those pesky curves on River Road starting April 16th. The road will be closed south of our livery to 161st Street for approximately 60 days. The official detour is Cherry Tree Road per the link below, but if you're coming from Carmel, we'd suggest taking Hazel Dell Parkway up to State Road 32. If you're coming from Fishers, we suggest taking Allisonville Road up to downtown Noblesville. There will be barricades at SR32 and River Road, but the road is open to our facilily and there will be signage confirming. Sorry for the mess, but River Road will be much nicer when the project is completed, and we'll finally begin running the trip from our livery down to 116th Street that you've all been wanting us to do. We have programmed the online reservations for April so please feel free to place your reservation on-line. You get a $2 discount when you do. April trips on the weekdays are 11am-2pm on the hour. April weekend trips are 8:30am, then 10am-2pm on the hour. Paddle Safely!!!
